Palm Control System was created as the result of the search of one of its founders for a simple but effective way to treat his own palm trees against the attack of the Red Palm Weevil by applying Fitosanitary Treatment.

This interest led to the Company developing a device to which there is no other on the market. It consists of a ring, or similar device, a spiral, depending on the type of palm to be treated. This device permanently attaches itself directly onto the bud of the palm, in the centre where the leaves are tenderer, and where the larvae of the Red Palm Weevil tend to be established.

The ring, or spiral, has a series of holes for the release of the pesticide liquid, suitably situated to produce a perfect spray of the product in the area of the bud and the heart of the palm.

There is a pipe connected to this ring or spiral, through which the treatment flows, allowing the application of the pesticide liquid from the ground by way of a backpack spray pump, thus avoiding climbing the palm and preventing any further expense and danger.

In addition, Palm Control System has developed a system by way of an injection of the pesticide directly into the trunk of the palm, which remains in the palm permanently and is safe and easy to administer from the ground with the same backpack spray pump
